Fingerprint Submission
If you are aged between 14 and 70, your China visa application will not be considered complete until you have submitted fingerprints at the China Visa Application Service Centre. After we have received all the materials required in support of your visa application we will call you to schedule an appointment to submit fingerprints at the China Visa Application Service Centre located in Dublin. Our service includes a standard appointment which is available on a first come, first serve basis.
Passport
The applicant's actual signed passport. The passport must:
- Be valid six months beyond entry date
- Have at least two blank visa pages
Photograph(s)
You must provide one colour, passport type photograph that meets the following criteria:
- Be taken within the last three months and printed on high quality photo paper
- Be taken against an all white background
- Be 33 mm by 48mm in size
- Provide the full frontal view of your head with your face centered in the middle and displaying a neutral (non-smiling) expression with ears visible
- No background light or shadow over your face
- You may wear neither spectacles nor headwear except for religious purposes
- You may not wear any jewellery including earrings and necklaces regardless of size
- You should not wear any garment identical to the photo background
- Your photo should not be affixed to your application and it may not display evidence of adhesive or staples
Letter of Invitation
A letter of invitation from the company the applicant is visiting. The letter must:
- Include the applicant's personal details
- Include the purpose of the visit, the dates of entry and exit, place(s) to be visited
- State the relationship between the applicant and the inviter
- State the applicant's financial support whilst in China
- State the inviter's name, phone number and address
- Bear an official stamp and be signed by the legal representative or the inviter
Copy of Passport
A clear colour photocopy of the information page(s) from the applicant's passport
Visa Application Form
One fully completed and signed application form
VisaCentral Order Confirmation
Provide the VisaCentral Order Confirmation included in this kit.
Former Chinese Nationals
If you are a former PRC passport holder or were born in China, Hong Kong, or Macau:
- You must present copies of any previously issued China visas in your current or expired passport, as well as the expired passport
- If you have never been issued a China visa you must submit your previous Chinese passport and a copy of the passport information page

Proof of Travel Arrangements
Details of travel arrangements. These must be provided as:
- A copy of the hotel reservation
- A copy of the flight confirmation showing onward/return travel
Letter of Invitation
A letter of invitation from the applicant's host. The letter must:
- Include the applicant's personal details
- Include the purpose of the visit, the dates of entry and exit, place(s) to be visited
- Include the inviter's name, phone number and address
- Bear an official stamp and be signed by the legal representative or the inviter
Copy of Passport
A clear colour photocopy of the information page(s) from the applicant's passport
Visa Application Form
One fully completed and signed visa application form. The form must:
- Be printed single sided
- Be completed on a computer. Handwritten visa application forms will not be accepted by the Embassy
- Contain an original signature
