  2. Eligibility and Documentation

    The Government of Kenya utilises an electronic visa issuance system which is the equivalent to a visa, but no stamp or label is placed in the passport.

    To be eligible the traveller must:

    • Hold a passport valid at least six months on entry with one blank visa page
    • Hold proof of sufficient funds
    • Hold proof of onward/return flights
    • Hold proof of hotel reservation
    • Hold all documents required for the next destination


    To complete the order form the traveller must provide:

    • A photograph
    • A copy of information page of the applicant's Diplomatic, Official or Service passport
    • A copy of the front cover page of the applicant's Diplomatic, Official or Service passport
    • A letter of invitation
    • A copy of the Company Registration Certificate of the company in Kenya
    • A copy of the staff ID of the person who signed the letter of invitation

  2. Minors

    Applicants under 16 years of age do not require an eVisa to Kenya if travelling under their parents/guardian ETA application.
